Wraparound Care
Our Wraparound Care provision offers a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children can enjoy a relaxed start and finish to their school day.
Led by Mrs Wharton, our experienced and caring team provides a range of engaging activities, giving children the opportunity to play, be creative, complete homework, read, socialise with friends or simply unwind after a busy day at school.
Whether you need regular childcare or occasional support, we aim to provide a flexible service to meet the needs of our families.
Session Times & Prices:
Breakfast Club
7:30am – 8:45am
£5.00 per session
£5.00 per session
Children are welcomed into a calm and friendly environment before the school day begins.
After School Club
3:30pm – 4:30pm
£5.00 per session
£5.00 per session
4:30pm – 5:30pm
£5.00 per session
£5.00 per session
Children may attend for one or both sessions depending on your childcare requirements.
Flexible Booking
Food & Drinks
We understand that family life can be busy and plans sometimes change. Alongside regular bookings, we also offer flexible places, subject to availability.
If you require an additional session, please contact the school office and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.
Children attending After School Club are welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy during the session if they wish.
Fresh drinking water and fruit is always available.
If your child drinks milk, you are welcome to provide a carton or bottle at the beginning of the week. We are happy to store it safely in our fridge for them to enjoy throughout the week.
Activities
A Caring Environment
Our Wraparound Care provides children with a wide variety of enjoyable activities, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Board games and puzzles
- Construction and small world play
- Outdoor play (weather permitting)
- Reading and quiet time
- Homework or reading support if requested
- Seasonal and themed activities
Children are encouraged to help choose activities, ensuring the club remains fun, engaging and responsive to their interests.
Our Wraparound Care reflects the values of the Wootton Way. We aim to provide an environment where every child feels safe, valued and included.
Children are encouraged to develop independence, build friendships across year groups, show kindness towards others and enjoy spending time together in a relaxed, family atmosphere.
Booking a Place
To enquire about availability or to book a place, please contact the school office.
We recommend booking regular sessions in advance to guarantee your child’s place.
Flexible bookings are welcomed whenever spaces are available.
