Our school, founded to serve the children of the Wootton parish and surrounding villages, is a vibrant, inclusive part of the local community. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, grounded in the Christian values of love, care, and respect for all.

As a Voluntary Aided school, we are owned by the Church of England, who also contribute to the upkeep of our building. This special relationship with the Church brings certain privileges and responsibilities, including:

1. The right to nominate a majority of the governing body.

2. The ability to include denominational elements in Religious Education.

3. Certain privileges in the use of the school buildings outside of school hours.

While we operate similarly to other county schools, we believe our close connection with the Church provides a unique Christian atmosphere where values such as kindness, generosity, courage, and care for others are at the core of everything we do.

Our mission is to foster an environment where children can grow academically and spiritually, exploring their potential with the guidance of Christian teachings. We encourage the involvement of parents and the local community in supporting our shared Christian ethos.

Through Collective Worships and celebrating key Christian festivals, both in school and at the local church, we aim to build a sense of belonging and spiritual growth.
